eAccounts Frequently Asked Questions

I forgot/don't know my password!
Log on to the eAccounts Service Portal using your normal University credentials (the same username/password you use to log on to UAOnline).  If you need to reset your UA password please go to https://elmo.alaska.edu

How long does it take the funds to show up on my POLARExpress card after I make a deposit via eAccounts?

   The funds should show up on your POLARExpress card within a few minutes.

On what accounts can I deposit funds?
   Although you can see all of your POLARExpress card accounts, you can only deposit to Bear Bucks.

How can I view my recent transactions?
   From the main screen click on the Account Name to the left and you will see the recent transactions for just that account.  If you click on "Account Transactions" at the top of the screen, you can select any or ALL accounts, along with a date range.

What if my account or balance doesn't show up when I log on to eAccounts?
   Please call the UAF Bursar's Office at 474-7384 for assistance.

I had (Whale/Wolf) Bucks on my (Whale/Wolf) card from (UAA/UAS).  Can I use those funds at UAF?
   Not automatically.  If UAF is now your primary campus, please contact the Bursar's Office at 474-7384 and ask for those funds to be transferred to Bearbucks.

What happens to the remaining balance on my card at the end of the semester?
   All Munch Money remaining at the end of the Fall semester will roll over and be added to the spring meal plan. Meal plans are purchased on a semester basis and another dining plan for the spring semester is required if living in on-campus housing. Munch Money from all dining plans expires at the end of the academic year (May) and will not be refunded.  Please keep track of your balance through the semester. Bearbucks stay on your card account. If you graduate or leave the university, they are removed after 18 months of inactivity, so be sure to use them!

Can I get a refund for the remaining Bearbucks balance on my POLARExpress card?
   Funds become property of UAF at the time funds are deposited in the terminal and value is added to the account. All value must be used through the PolarExpress system. No refunds are given.
